Steeped in full afternoon sunshine --- from the 9th hole of Clear Lake Golf Course

Standing behind the well know restaurant on Clear Lake Golf Course and looking over the 9th hole onto the shimmering surface of the Clear lake soaking myself in the late afternoon splendor of sunshine , I finished the last piece of canvas with a sigh of relief and remained gripped by a surge of joy

The Quiet Path with Elm Trees on Clear Lake

Drove back to Wasagaming in the afternoon to paint this quiet path lined up with big elm trees with their golden canopies at this time of the year lit up by the warm wash of late afternoon sunshine. With my wife sitting on the bench reading and waiting, I lost myself in the joy of splashing colors onto this quite big piece of canvas.

A glimpse of lake Katherine from the loon Island

After some snack I set up my easel again painting this view on Lake Katherine, there the memory of summer lingers where the picknick table and firepit stand.

Sunrise moment on Lake Katherine of Riding Mountain National Park

Absolute silence and serenity enveloped  me while I was standing on lake Katherine painting at the crack of dawn.
