Brandon, Assiniboine River , its skyline

It is my way perhaps to come to this quiet spot on Assiniboine River in Dinsdale Park early this morning with my French easel , and brush and paint to silently mark the quick approach of my 24th anniversary of moving to Brandon from China. I will always remember how I was enchanted by the view unfolding in front of me when I first stepped into this park a few days after I arrived in Brandon almost 24 years ago. It was so quiet in the park that the only other sound that I could hear was the lapping of the water against the shore. All of a sudden, it came back to me the same surge of emotions that touched my heart deeply 24 years ago.
Talking about my earliest memory of Brandon, I do not know why it is always Chopin's piano concerto no.1 , especially its second movement and Camille Saint-Saƫns violin concerto no3 especially its second moment that always bring back what I emotionally went through from my earliest years here in Brandon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3emHfytb_i8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gSkJnEjD54
